DOUG RAINOFF is a musician living in Northern Virginia.  His influences range from folk to bluegrass to R&B and rock and roll, and his versatility in writing and playing is evidenced on his new CD, Recovery Of Spirit.  Rainoff has showcased his intricate acoustic instrumental performances, which have been likened to those of guitar virtuoso Al Pettaway, at several notable venues.  Former lead guitarist for Carey Colvin & On The Air, The Wingnuts and Cats For Dinner, Rainoff teaches guitar teacher at Contemporary Music Center in Chantilly, VA and is also a substance abuse counselor.
